Tupset Lamella is manufactured from PP (polypropylene) or PVC (polyvinylchloride) for drinking water and wastewater treatment plants.Purpose of usage; to increase the efficiency of the treatment plant, to decrease the chemical consumption and the area and volume of the pool.
It is the most effective and economical system known.The settling unit using Tupset Lamella operates at 400% higher efficiency than conventional.The clarifier pool volume and chemical consumption of the facilities where Tupset Lamella is used is reduced.
In this way, the investment and operating cost of the treatment plant are reduced.Tupset Lamella can be manufactured with frames and blocks. There is no need for a metal frame for block type Lamella, therefore metal frame cost eliminated.

The most important advantages of using Tubesettlers are filling the volume in the form of hexagonal tubes, removing the turbulence of the water, increasing the clarifier efficiency and reducing the pool surface area required for precipitation.
The hexagonal honeycomb structure is the most ideal design. Because with this design,the maximum surface area from the least material is created. The easiest way to form the hexagon is by adding two trapezoidal platessymmetrically to each other.
Material for lamella PVC is the most used material in lamella manufacturing due to its strength and economical. It is suitable for packaging material at food and drinking water treatment plants. The most preferred chemical stabilizer is tin in PVC sheet production.

Trapezoidal size (D1) for lamella; The trapezoidal size may differ slightly depending on the characteristics of the water, where 2 plates distance (D1) are important. This distance and lamella length determine the purification efficiency of the water. For drinking water, between 2 plates is around 44-60 mm. The most preferred spacing (D1) is 48 mm and 54 mm. For wastewater treatment (D1) 60 mm is recommended.
Trapezoid base size (T1); trapezoidal base size is the flat part of the hexagonal shape. Shown with T1. This part (T1) 40 mm is recommended. If the base size is smaller than 35 mm, the metal frame or the free-to-back lamella plates slide very easily into the side, the lamella function is completely eliminated
Trapezoidal axis measure (E1); It is indicated by the trapezoidal axis dimension (E1). It is an important criterion to be taken into consideration during the design phase of the project. E1 size is 100, 110, 120, 140 mm. lamella width is in multiples of selected E1 dimensions
